Mary is a political activist and professional media consultant, who is currently a co-host of Ruckus on KCPT. After lunch, candidates will have a one on one public speaking lesson with Mary. We ask that you please bring a prepared 2 minute stump speech.
After lunch the rest of your day will focus on logistics training and how to organize/run a campaign.
Please join us for this unique training opportunity tailored to the needs of political candidates and volunteers. The Women’s Political Caucus, through the support of EEF, and in partnership with Heartland Democrats is trying to bring you a revolutionary program that will help both candidates and campaign volunteers learn how to talk to the public about the issues at hand. Our goal is to steer the current political conversation towards the issues the Progressives believe in, through a non-partisan training.
We are asking that you register for the trainings by March 14th.
Should you have any questions about the program, please contact the Kansas GKCWPC Training and Recruitment chair Lindsay Gentry.
